Godzilla Minus One 2023

Well as a movie, Godzilla Minus One isn’t bad, but it’s not particularly great either. Just fine (3/5 I guess). The visual effects were pretty overrated though. They may be good for their budget but that doesn’t make them the best visual effects of the year.
All of that, however, is pretty irrelevant when the politics of the movie seem to venture towards Japan’s WW2 actions apologism and even seeing kamikazes in a rather posting light.
