Okay, so I might not be a Moby Dick expert, but I think that this movie is rated a little too harshly. Sure, killing whales isn’t the coolest thing in the world for something to do but it’s just how things were done back then. I honestly thought that this film was pretty cool, it portrayed a real life tale (I think) and demonstrated atrocities that could occur at the cost of survival. Also, I think that the accents being off make the characters cooler. Shout out to the homie, Dick, he just wanted some whale revenge ✊🐳.

The concept of this movie is very interesting and deep, but the character development doesn’t stick at all and Barry seems to just go in circles, and I think that this film could have been better if the story was changed in certain places. Also for how serious the end started to get, the way the movie ended was a little disappointing.
