Companion is from the producers of Barbarian, a film I absolutely adore. Directed by Drew Hancock which this is seemingly his feature film debut.

I LOVED this! Companion is such a ride of a film. Sophie Thatcher is electric...(heh) here as the lead. I'd recommend maybe going in with essentially knowing nothing more than Jack Quaid and Sophie Thatcher get into shit at a friends gathering when the billionaire gets murdered.

Nah but being fully vague with that in mind…

Robbie Williams is such a unique rockstar/popstar. He's wholly a British thing. Same with Take That. They're known outside of the UK but here they were massive and as was he. I grew up with his music and I guess growing older hearing his music again there's a sentimentality to it.

RIP Gene Hackman. It's been weeks but still absolutely tragic way to go as he did.

As the credits rolled, I found that I had wept for a good chunk of this film. In several ways. In awe, in deep sadness and in immense relatability. This film came at the right time, and the Daniels, in their genius way, sewed together an interdimensional masterpiece which is a kung-fu Multiverse adventure movie that is about SO MUCH MORE.

I don't wanna give much away, but sufficed to say, this deserves ALL of its praise. Every performance, every…

An original sci-fi about the rise of AI. Many aspects of this film aren't exactly new to the concept of sci-fi film or AI inspired film, but it's just presented in a way that just blends together so well.

I'm not even that big of a fan of Gareth Edwards' previous work. Godzilla is decent, Rogue One I have issues with. This sorta feels like his moment to show his worth, while there still being his trademark which was in…
