  This slaps. It’s not perfect, and AJ’s characterization is cringe af. But when the parallels be paralleling… When the score hits with that beautiful tracking shot on the bike… I can’t help but love it.

  max’s thoughts: i wish i had a sense for what the focus of the story was earlier—because i liked the ending but i feel like it would’ve hit harder if i had of been primed for the rock vs folk tension more. mumble mumble mumble… groovy tunes
