a beautiful film about finding self-love and friendship. Sridevi delivers a beautiful performance, and truly carries the film. i understand the film wanting to feel grounded, and not too wish-fulfillmenty, but I was hoping for a little more pleading from the husband; he had a lot to ask forgiveness for. but he is a man after all. i was also hoping for a more concrete resolution to Shashi and Sapna's conflict.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham 2001
if i ever saw yash raichand in the street I would be throwing hands I'll tell you that much. They let him get away with tooo much. I still think the second half is weaker than the first, Kajol and SRK are the shining vibrating core of the first half and make it such a pleasure to watch, when they take the backseat it loses that charm.

why are people comparing a made for television movie like it is supposed to be a sequel to the 1962 film? It's trying to tell a different part of the Lawrence story.
