  i dont think ive seen any bollywood movie that represents domestic violence to this depth. the fake promises. the co-dependence. the usage of alcohol as an excuse. the fear of starting over. the stigma around divorce. being hopeless yet hopeful against all odds. the last straw.

  everything from the script, dialogue, delivery and acting was brilliant. i also really loved zulfi's character and i desperately hope and wish every woman who's been a victim of domestic violence can find a zulfi in their life to help them believe in the good in the world all over again.
