  I am definitely in the camp that finds Poppy insufferable - but I can't deny it's expertly done!

  It seems like many viewers think Mike Leigh's goal with this film was to posit Poppy's optimism as a beacon of moral virtue in a bitter and jaded world - and therein lies the film's divisiveness.
