I'll keep it short, I found it funny often (when Toros complained about young people, for example, I found that funny). But it was basically degrading and mysognistic as a movie. I'm not mad I went to see it, but I'm kind of shocked by the reaction the movie got in the theater, and around.
I don't really like rating systems, or don't understand them. I certainly liked the movie a lot and found it more consistently interesting than Egger's Nosferatu, which I rated 4 stars. There was more, to my eyes going on, in even the small details - to take one example, fish are implicitly stated to just be food, and a part of the unthinking environment, in contrast with every other animal in the movie who all react and act on their…
