    Roman catholic iconography going CRAZY, loved the shot compositions and motifs of red black and white

    What a chaste, innocent affair.

    Still love the ambiance of the film, and the sense of listless ennui and disconnection. Feeling alone despite surrounded by people is such a trope, but I feel like this film did it best.
    In contrast, All of Us Strangers (my other favourite lonely film) portrays loneliness with a skeleton cast.

    Encapsulates that feeling of arriving somewhere alien and feeling the urges of habit and action take root with no familiar outlet. There is a…
