    Inherit the Wind

    ★★★½

Inherit the Wind is more or less feels bundled in with 12 angry men, where a few men hash it out in court over a perennial science vs religion debate.

It's well-acted with a good screenplay, but there's not much else that appears exceptional or leaves a long-lasting effect on me after the film is done.

    ★★★½

As a homage to the first Alien instalment over 40 years ago, Romulus doesn't do a lot more to reinvent the wheel apart from offering more striking visuals and score. The film meanders a bit at the start without having enough character establishment to show for it - before a strong middle act keeps the tension high with unique sequences

The main storyline is simple, predictable and a bit tired, but that was to be expected from a film like…
