  the scream i let out when michael shannon appeared ♥️😭🫶🏾 anyways…

  folks were saying this is a sad movie…i’d categorize this as HORROR. the karaoke scene was comedic yet sinister (aka so good).

  my spirit is disturbed. 

  what a creative, crazy film! i felt a lil midsommar magic in the air.

  the scene at the bar in nyc gutted me. 

  agree with some of the commentary on the camera work. very good movie though. 

  i gotta read the book. 

  so many concurrent atrocities committed against black people in this country. the constant struggle between knowledge is power or knowledge is traumatizing 😭

  i agree with the majority that the first half carried the movie. i love how the wife came in and was ACTING.

  i felt like i either gasped or had my hand over my mouth for the majority of this one. will likely take me 3 months to process. A SCORE nonetheless.
