Incredibly inspired plot in tandem with strikingly slick camera work and composition. Completely lean no fat in sight and evolves into a Cronenberg-esque body horror. We love to see it

Nosferatu 2024
The best iteration of nosferatu since the original from 1922.
This version forgoes the atmosphere and eeriness present in the original and replaces those moments with dread and hopelessness.
I may just be nostalgic towards the original but those eery moments (such as the scene of nosferatu in the doorway of the castle) are what I was really looking forward to in this version but instead was handed a "spectre of shadow" which does the trick in its own right but in a different way. But I can't blame Eggars for the deviation as this is a reimagination not a remake

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion 1997
Being able to watch this in a theater and experience its massive scale as opposed to on a small laptop screen makes all the difference. This series has a special place in my heart as it's themes of taking responsibility for the things that happen to you are some of my favorite subjects portrayed in medias
