  Captain America: Brave New World 2025

  Pretty funny that Red Hulk, the only kind of interesting part of the plot, got plastered on every poster and ad for the movie to sell tickets. They really build it up in the movie like it is a big twist. Worse than the Falcon/Winter Soldier TV show imo but at least Tim Blake Nelson gets to be a weird little green guy with his brain hanging out.

  Just for the record, I would not have done that stuff, if I was her.

  Always impressed when a movie can still make me go "dang, that's fucked up". Soundtrack is very Lady Vengeance.

  Japanese 80s crime/romcom with two very charming leads, a great look, and some low stakes crime hijinks. Not much here to complain about. I've never seen Hiroyuki Sanada play anything close to a dorky salaryman, so watching him fumble around in this was really amusing. Look at Scorpion's big glasses. Check out Twilight Samurai's belt that is 5 sizes too big.

  Shoutout to Carlo for the English translation and subs. Would not have been able to enjoy this gem without them.
