Venus Wars 1989
Visuals were great, some of the designs were very eye-catching. Little things, like how the Ishtar soldiers dressed, to big things like their bulbous tanks. Also the monocycle sequences were sick. The movie didn't seem to have much substance in the way of political messaging to me. The monologue the Ishtar general gives to the reporter was kind of total BS, but there wasn't a really explicit rebuttal. And damn it felt weird seeing how badly she flubbed trying to…
