Anora 2024
Wow this was really sad. Mikey Madison was great in this (Mikey I would never treat you like Vanya did). I really enjoyed the more frantic tone the second half of the movie takes. It reminded me a bit of Uncut Gems a bit. I was thankful for the sporadic comedic moments in this. I felt that it brought some relief as this progressed to a really depressing end.

Terminator Salvation 2009
I don’t know what made me decide to watch this. Perfectly acceptable but really nothing to write home about. Christian Bale was ok as John Connor. I think they could’ve done a better job with the human prisoners of SkyNet angle. I did like the triumph of man over machine in regard to the Marcus character. Overall, I wouldn’t discourage anyone from watching this but I wouldn’t encourage them to either.

Vertigo 1958
Vertigo has been on my list for quite a while now and I’m glad I finally filled in this gap of my quest to watch the classics. Hitchcock had me completely spun around the entire time, he is truly a master of this shit. There’s so much subtlety to this film that I’m sure I’ll find so many things I missed on my first watch. I’ll cap off my review with a final thought, Jimmy Stewart is probably the greatest American actor of all time.

The Parallax View 1974
Truly a product of its time. I wonder if that was how it went down with Lee Oswald. This movie made me like 1000x more schizophrenic
