  pure unadulterated fun and absurdity!!! i can see this not working for some people just by how far the silliness, satire, and dense plot is being pushed but everything worked so well for me. it’s unique, it’s fun and it’s certainly a good time.

  you know when fanfiction authors leave a note at the beginning about how their story is just pure smut with no plot? yeah, that’s this movie but just with gore and violence, which don’t get me wrong can be very fun, but everything in between that was supposed to drive the story forward just felt so useless? and theo james, i love you baby and i have ever since divergent.

  dare i say i liked this more than fury road??? anya taylor joy was amazing as always but chris hemsworth stole the show (his character was so dumb and evil it made me hate him so much). i’ve been dying to see him as someone other than thor and he killed it. the movie was slower in terms of less action than fury road but i was engaged and interested the whole time.

  there’s movies that feel long but aren’t long and then there’s movies that are long but feel so short. interstellar is the latter. three hours felt like nothing and i think i could run it back and rewatch this immediately again and still be engaged, entertained, shocked, thrilled, heartbroken and everything in between. also, i’ve never hated matt damon more in my entire life.
