Hellbound: Hellraiser II 1988
I was shocked at the creativity put into the worldbuilding and matte paintings. I watched 1, 2, 3, and 4 recently—I think 2 was my favorite just for those reasons. It's like a fever dream. The 4-faced rotating colossal crystal ("The Leviathan") projects a ray of pure mental evil darkness that fills the minds of those who are exposed to it with the most distressing, personal, violent mental images imaginable (or unimaginable.)
