  pov: your letterboxd account won’t work after you ve just watched a new movie so you decide to express the emotions this beautiful movie (a literal masterpiece, i love this movie so much) gave you in a risky text at 2 AM to a person you ve liked in the past for over 8 months and tell them how much you fucking liked them but also how shitty they made you feel ( the response was obviously disappointing but i expected ) and now you feel just numb

  this movie is just so beautifully sad. it starts off with a chaotic move in of the two main characters in a crowded apartment complex, later on to discover that their spouses are having an affair together. in the try of healing the pain  their lovers give them they inevitably fall in love. 
     ‘In the mood for love’ is my favorite wong kar wai movie. the storytelling in this one is so delicate. the timeline is blurry, the colors are saturated, the music is sensual. the costumes are gorgeous. the acting is so real. i can not think of one flaw about this movie.
