a genuinely bad movie. despite the pretty visuals the movie has no metaphor, no philosophy. it is so straightforwardly literal that it gives no room for interpretation or abstraction. nosferatu means nothing, the film has excess of pretty imagery that by the end feels bloated as the movie stretches for -two and a half hours-. it feels like a movie you’re meant to screenshot, not watch.
