A tad cheesy.
If I ever get a chance to, I would ask Andrew Garfield what was going on in his particular stage of life that made him accept two very religious roles in the span of like a year.
However, I’m thankful he did do both Silence (2016) and Hacksaw Ridge. I read an article a while back about how we need films to have a truer picture of suffering.And I agree, we need the hope of Hacksaw Ridge and the honesty of Silence. I was going to say “what an interesting double feature opportunity” but no that sounds like a terrible idea.
