  I appreciate these films more and more with each marathon. 

  The scene that stuck out to me the most from this one is where they are all laughing after the ring is destroyed and all are reunited in Rivendell. There is pure joy, love, and comfort in everyone’s eyes and laughter in that scene. It is so beautiful and innocent after so much struggle and pain. They bore their crosses and remained good and joyful despite the challenges they faced.
