La Chimera 2023
Unfortunately my expectations for this film left me with an impossible dream of what could have been. This just didn't grab me, mostly due to the abysmal pacing until you get to two thirds of the way through the film.
Despite this, the film is undeniably beautifully shot, and the set design and scenery perfectly transports you back to the time period. But the meandering narrative and the exposition through musical interlude really didn't work for me (Nolan-esque antics there).…
