  I remember watching this movie for the first time when it was released. The trailer looked scary, and I thought I was a badass, so I would brag to everybody that I had seen it. This movie is criminally underrated. So full of emotion for a kid's film with a very serious and interesting plot. The only issue would be the inconsistent pacing of the story. At times, it is really fast, and the events could've been played out with more detail.

  Requiem for a Dream 2000

  Such a brilliant and creatively produced film that does an exceptional job balancing four different characters and how their dependencies lead to the requiem of their dreams. Such a dark and depressing story that shows the lengths that addicts will go to to get their fix. The edits and cuts, accompanied by the unique camera work and use of time-lapse and slow-mo, are one of a kind. Well worth the watch.

  Not too shabby. I like the out-of-order storytelling and how it all ties together in the end. However, the actual story itself is honestly just not that intriguing. The writing honestly only felt genuinely impactful in the final scene. But, all things considered, the camera work and the actual film aspects of the movie are super damn good. Also got some good laughs throughout. I totally see why its regarded as one of the greats.
