to be honest this film felt like it was missing something. the true representation of boyhood was executed extremely well, but it feels as if there should have been been are more grief centric outlook on this film. it felt like remi died really early on and we hadn’t really got to know his character yet, although i understand this choice i believe it may have been more emotional if we knew remi for longer.
