  I feel this film is probably quite hard to connect with if you aren’t queer or female or mentally ill (and honestly those as standalone might not suffice). Its not something you would watch to be entertained or find any sort of conventionality in, but when has Ackerman ever dumbed down her work for the sake of accessibility.
