1000 Mabrouk 2009
Still really enjoyable after more than a decade. The arc seems mostly earned and sincere; it totally works as a narrative. It’s ultimately moralistic as most Egyptian films tend to be, but avoids any condescension in doing so. That’s a relief imo.
