The first time I saw this film at NYFF, it didn’t fully click for me, but this viewing was completely different. It explores the darkness and complexity of sex addiction while also highlighting how personal and varied sexual desire is. Brandon  is so shut down, convinced he’s in control—should we empathize with him? The film’s cold, detached style mirrors his isolation, reminding me how powerful and complicated sex can be. Sissy his sister and their relationship is not the most believable…but i get it’s trying to give Brandon a sense of realness.and then she try’s to kill herself will this change him….
    the music is brilliant

The Apprentice explores Donald Trump’s rise in 1970s and ’80s New York he’s been ego manic blowhard that long, the film, highlights his mentorship under lawyer Roy Cohn and his relationship with his father, Fred Trump with so much nuance … Sebastian Stan delivers a brilliant performance as Trump, capturing his mannerisms and speech without overdoing it.

I worked on this film for over five years. It was exhausting in so many different ways. Janixza  really had a vision. I know this because she brought the most incredible deck to her first meeting. It really explained her unique way of telling the story. It took us a long time to edit the film.Janixza  got in her own way a few times, but we got there she got there having a great Editor makes all the difference. Please watch this film. It’s reallywell-made.
