I stumbled upon The Mirror Has Two Faces on a whim, never heard of it before but decided to watch because it looked vintage and gave me Dead Poets Society vibes in terms of aesthetics. Little did I know, this seemingly random choice for a boring Saturday evening would do some emotional damage 🤣

This isn’t just your typical rom-com. It dives much deeper, exploring themes of self-worth, love, vulnerability and taking agency over your life. Psychological themes.

A very simple film with the intention to educate by story telling. Explores modern urban relationships and the psychology of relationships that last through trials and tribulations of life. It’s meant to depict the relationship struggles of normal, everyday working class people who are expanding their conscious awareness of what it takes to love and be loved, give and take. It explores themes of individuality, abuse, self-worth, self-awareness, insecurities and acceptance.

Not the biggest budget spent on film but plot’s potential’s great.

Beautiful representation of the SC marshlands and reminds me of Notebook but less cheesier, sad girl version of it with trust issues and was unpredictable.
