A definition of mid.
But Aubrey Plaza is in it.
A lot in this movie is form over substance. But I do love all those forms, even when they are taken out of the context that made them more real and meaningful.
Cronenberg, Tool - Schism, The Shining, St Vincent - Los Ageless, what else did I miss?
Plus I loved how this movie is straightforward and without unnecessary exposition. Or how the creepy producer was more professional than expected. Or all the funny and cringey bits.
But in the end, it's just a BETTER movie than Requiem for a Dream and Neon Demon.
