Novocain was an interesting, dumb fun action movie that didn’t have to take itself seriously. Reminiscent of late 80’s/early 90’s action movies, it was full of over the top stunts and action sequences with just enough plot to hold it together.

The Penguin Lessons 2024
This movie had an emotional punch due to its context in world events today. The journey of a man who lost himself and was hardened to the world was helped by the care of a penguin.
That said, the movie was slow, and meandering. It was worth a watch, but likely won’t be revisited soon.

This movie did a fantastic job of creating the tension and isolation of being trapped hundreds of feet under the ocean, doing one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. My only critique was that the movie felt a little choppy at times and didn’t flow as well as it could have.
