The Green Knight 2021
Dreamlike. An olde English lullaby. A fairytale dragged through mud. Unsure if it's espousing honor and virtue or spitting in its face. It's a mythical period piece that still feels real, like there was a time in history when spirits wanted their heads back and sex belts protected against tree people and giant naked titans ate mothers and children alike. Oops-- wrong franchise. The slow cinematography is incredibly alluring. I'd put on Dev Patels yellow cloak and never take it off! Even on the toilet!

One of the most dull and lifeless entries yet! The action was sporadic, floaty, and meaningless. The stakes never felt high. I enjoyed Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh's performance though!
