Perfectly encapsulates the feeling of live production. Anything can go wrong at any time but you still have a show to put on. Great way to celebrate SNL 50th. Cast is spot on and the film is as simple as any good biopic should be.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I get the appeal, this is a definitive blockbuster. It’s fun but it doesn’t really do it for me. I wish that instead of the focus on the love story there was a little more time spent between Maverick and his fellow pilots. I just really appreciate that dynamic. Also didn’t realize Merlin is Tim Robbin’s, we got to the end of the film and literally had to ask ourselves where he was in the film. Then again they don’t show him without his helmet on in the whole film. Rip Goose!

The Killer 2023
This film much like Fassbenders character is ruthless and direct. It doesn’t waste the audiences time in showing anything but what we need to know. Its simplicity and focus gives and intimate feeling as though we are accomplices to his crimes and he just kills it in the role. This movie is a simple and deeply enjoyable thriller.
