Easily one of the best Pinky Violence movies I’ve seen. This is non-stop action, blood, and insanity, with some Last House on the Left sleaze and gorgeous cinematography. Miki Sugimoto is an awesome heroine and totally badass. Love it!

I found this movie to be decent but not quite the classic it’s made out to be. It seems to want to be both an exploitation film and something more artistic but doesn’t really succeed at either one. Yeah, Flashdance is a silly movie with a banal script – I don't care. Here’s why I love it.

Man, oh, man! Just when I'm beginning to think I've seen every horror movie worth watching, an obscure gem like this one here sneaks up on me and blows me right the fuck away. 'La Residencia' is an unjustly overlooked masterpiece. It's a bit leisurely-paced, but the characters and mood and atmosphere – not to mention the lush, melodic score by Waldo de los Ríos – are all strong enough to hold interest. By the end, I was spellbound. See it!
