Hundreds of Beavers 2022
Really funny slapstick live-action cartoon. Essentially silent and does a great job of visual storytelling. I love the animals in costumes and the fights were always hilarious. Some really great shots as well. I especially liked when Jean Kayak was climbing the tree to avoid the wolves.

I really didn’t like this film. I didn’t get it at all and never could really buy in to any of the characters. I thought it was slow but also needed more time to handle everything that happens in the movie. The whole ending felt rushed and unearned and I just got lost. I did really like the dream sequence when Cesar gets shot in the face, but otherwise I didn’t really feel interested or compelled by the characters or the screen presence, except for Aubrey Plaza.
