National Theatre Live: Dr. Strangelove 2025
While maybe not technically a film, I did watch this at the al whittle. It was a lovely way to spend an evening, and despite the longer run time I didn't feel the pacing drag.
The whole Steve Coogan in 4 roles thing was pulled off fairly smoothly. He delivers the goods in the ways you'd except, the accents were great. I was impressed by the sets and overall spectacle of it all.
I haven't seen the source material so I can't compare yet, but this version was great. Would recommend checking it out especially for Coogan enjoyers.
