Yeah this film is pretty great...
Okay so firstly the visuals are absolutely impeccable. Not only the way the camera follows the action and the characters around scenes but also from the unique but quite fresh colour pallet. I found the choice of colours quite striking as at times it can almost seem surreal, whereas at other times it isn't afraid to go darker. The ebbing and flowing really works.

This is such a strange film to review. For the most part it's as if you don't know when the next moment is going to hit or what impact it's going to have on the story. That could even be said for the overall plot, what was the point? Where was the the defining point of the story? What does this film offer in terms of an ending to the story it's told. My friend Lewis convinced me to re-look at this film when he said that it was potentially the best Christopher Nolan film. I must admit he is probably not far off with that one.
Upon rewatching this film it makes you realise the level of detail and passion this man puts into his craft and I appreciate that. The cast is stacked and absolutely shines. My personal favourites are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy and Ken Watanabe.
