It's always difficult for me to rate films from around this time because I don't know how to judge them fairly. I thought this was a very pretty film, it had a lot of lovely shots, and the relationships between the characters was interesting to watch; I was pretty captivated by the performance of Delphine Seyrig. That said, several parts of this movie were hard to get through, a lot of it was a little too slow-going for my preference.
Might be worth it just to see Seyrig in the sparkly dress though.
