  One of, if not THE most thought-provoking and emotional films I've seen. Already very beautiful with the landscapes, but were this to be re-shot in 4K, it would be one of, if not THE most beautiful film as well. Gonna watch more Kurosawa from now on.

  "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"

  At first, I wanted to watch this movie as a joke, but I slowly started to like it more and more as the film progressed. The story was extremely interesting, and the long, drawn-out takes were, for the most part, hypnotizing (especially the dance scene.)
