The nexus of all plot holes. Over-long nonsense that works as a send-off to the original Marvel series and absolutely nothing else. The first two acts are an absolute chore to sit through and the third act is pretty good, albeit mostly working only if you have seen the majority of the MCU up to this point.
Great fanservice, I enjoyed it as the climax of a very ambitious movie franchise (even if 80% of the films themselves were boring). Atrocious writing that makes the film unwatchable after the first viewing.
They made Marvel actually really good for this one film. Effects are great (see Black Panther for how not great the effects in Marvel can be) and the soundtrack is well-done. Thanos is the only interesting antagonist the MCU has produced aside from maybe Killmonger and the main cast are fun and likeable, their arcs are one of the strong points of the whole franchise. The real wonder is how they made a 2.5 hour film that hits every base…

Incantation
- Interesting occult premise that allows the film to have unique presentation in its repetition of the symbol and chant. This ties into the (fairly obvious) twist that the audience has actually been inviting the protagonist's curse onto themselves. The mystery of the Mother Buddha and the village cult is the most engaging and unsettling part of the film.
