There Will Be Blood 2007
The first hour was phenomenal, got really hooked to Daniel, Eli and this new environment.
It went downhill fast in the second hour with the unnecessary fake “Henry” arc. Also the dynamic between Daniel and his son as well as Eli and his family were teased but never fleshed out; it felt incomplete. The time skip from 1911 to 1927 felt forced and rushed.
On the bright side, DDL was amazing in this role and the cinematography was beautiful.
