Alright, quick thoughts on the entire series:

Absurd, hilarious, messy, ugly, beautiful, horrific. Some great, some incomplete, and some terrible ideas all around.

Season 1 - 90% Comedy, 10% Horror. This surprised me. Not only are the actors incredibly funny (especially Ernst-Hugo), but Kristen Rolffes' character is the heart of this show. This reminded me so much of The Office (us version) because of the gags, cringe, secondhand embarrassment, workplace ineptitude, and how it was filmed. The actors carry this…

I don't know about you, but this gets funnier in every rewatch. Love catching new details I've missed. This is probably a blast watching it with a group of people. I love how fun the editing, camera work and acting is. There were so many shots that made me whisper to myself 'wow'.

The script for this also sounds wild to read. Is one of those movies that makes you think how the hell did they wrote it and broke it down during it's production. I gotta see the scrip one day.

Gonna give it an extra half star for how rewatchable this is. ⭐️

What a way to start the festival. I truly loved the surreal magic realism approach to the story, in addition to looking stunning. It pulled my heartstrings, while having well deserved moments of levity and comedy. It also reminded me of "The Madman of Freedom Square" by Hassan Blasim on how it explores the horrors of war in a surreal, scary and sometimes comedic way.

What struck me the most is the relationship between the past and…

I grew up watching this in Spanish, and I've never re-watched in English until now. Having been photographed in real 3D, dual camera, I had to see the remastered version in theaters, and I'm blown away. Seeing this in the big screen and 3D, I was able to appreciate the level of detail by the amazing artists and animators. I had fun finding hidden hands in the background. But outside of looking incredible, the story is so thoughtful and creepy, and kinda perfect. I respect films that take kids' sensibilities and fears seriously. This is just too good. And the music, incredible.

    So worth it. 10/10
