The Night House 2020
Effective, disconcerting paranormal ghost story.
Excellent acting from Rebecca Hall .
Claire: But who knows, right? Who's to say what happens once we "shuffle off this mortal coil"? "What dreams may come"?
Gary: No Shakespeare until next fall, please.

The Dark Red 2018
With a gut wrenching opening scene of emotion, to flashback storytelling and extremely disturbing imagery.
Dan Bush always knows how to make you root for the protagonist.
Great acting, score, cinematography etc, again, it’s a Dan Bush film, I wouldn’t expect anything else.
If you want an intelligent, unnerving and emotional ride, this is the film you need to see.The scariest thing about her story is that no one believes it.

Midsommar 2019
Probably in my top ten.
Uneasy feeling films, as I call them, builds throughout.
Good performances.
Great story.
Midsommar is in a league of films that you came away from with a feeling of dread.
Some truly shocking moments, placed at just the right places.
Try and watch the extended version, I can only watch this one.
Classic, Wicker man vibes.
Directed by Ari Aster, I became an instant fan.Translated from by -
Freaky 2020
I wanted to put this in the, not good at all, box but I liked it.
Vince Vaughn running like a stereotype girl is just very funny, I love his teenager in a old mass murderers body.
Same goes to Kathryn Newton, who swaps with the character, Vince Vaughn plays.
It’s basically, Freaky Friday meets Friday the 13th.
It’s Has gore and laughs abound, just not enough to make it a classic.
3 stars is very generous but I did laugh a lot.
Best scene is in the toilet with Vince Vaughn, don’t ask!Translated from by
