  Thunderbolt EMBODIES the vibe of retro action movies that are pumped full of adrenaline. I'm not going to say much but what it basically has is street racing, drug cartels, yakuza, and last but not least awesome karate scenes!

  There were a few action scenes where they reduce the frame rate to create a fake slow-motion effect and it really takes away from how they worked on the choreography and its a little disappointing to see it all "muddied up."

  All in all, I just really had fun with this movie!

  There are a lot of strange qualities in this film that I really wasn't expecting. The biggest is the mixed use of Muay Thai and drunken break-dancing. Break-dancing in martial arts is something I never thought to exist but I've always wanted.
