The Electric State 2025
I don't want to sound cocky here, but as soon as the character Chris said "It's possible our consciousness could transcend physical boundaries" I knew EXACTLY what I was on for from The Electric State. But you know what...it wasn't that bad. It wasn't awful but it's probably the last time I'll accept Millie B. Brown as a wayward orphan in Foster care.
Chris Pratt is back as Starlord..pretty much.

Remember Bullet Train? Well this is Bullet Plane. It's another film with the kind of frenetic energy we've seen alot recently, and another in a long line of crazy assassins Vs assassins we've seen too. It's from the producers of John Wick, the daddy of them all that re ignited the trend.
It's fun, silly and Josh Hartnett is a likeable "hero". Throw in competent fight scenes and you've got a film that is better than The Killing Game.Translated from by

The Suicide Squad 2021
Despite not needing to save the already successful MCU, James Gunn did show them with Guardians of the Galaxy, that they could laugh at themselves, not take it all too seriously, have fun AND make a Groot load of money at the box office.

Alien: Romulus 2024
It started off so well. It followed the usual rag tag crew of Xenomorph fodder into a situation they didn't fully understand but at least it seemed to be trying to do it's own thing. A younger and more inexperienced rabble trying to make their way in the Universe.
Get to the final act, and nods to the originals have turned into almost carbon copies and cheap imitations. The final showdown is just downright awful and stinks of Alien:Resurrection.
