First of why on earth did that fight scene go on for that long that got painful to watch 😭
Otherwise I found this mildly enjoyable at best, it's nowhere near carpenters worst work but its not his best either, and I think that shows here a bit. Especially at the end where I still don't think I actually know what was fully happening but oh well.
Otherwise it was still enjoyable enough so that's that.

First of rip gene Hackman I grew up watching the 1978 superman so your passing for me was very upsetting.
Also jesus even by 1970s standards this was brutal 😭 possibly the least likely handful of survivors I expected to make it. I mean I'm so glad grandpa joe and the cab driver from escape from new york made it but fuck we're survival movies as brutal then as they are now. Otherwise I thought the cast and the charecter dynamic was what was best here.
Otherwise I won't go on just a really classic old survival movie I enjoyed, so yeah pretty damn good movie.

Without a doubt one of the greatest films I've seen, I never thought a film in one single room could ever be so powerful, it shows genuine proof films don't always have to be on a massive scale to be masterpieces, and the men were indeed angry. Genuinely one of the greatest films I've ever seen by far, I will forever love juror number 8 and 9.
Also that scene where everyone just went together to shame that racist was absolute cinema.
