No Colin Firth made me sad at first and the bloke who plays Dexter in One Day is just a bit dull for me…
The movie has a surprisingly somber tone at times and I wasn’t expecting to be emotionally effected by the plot at all but weirdly it did (maybe I’m just a pussy guys idk) but it balanced those moments perfectly with some genuinely laugh out loud one liners and some fun…

This film makes me smile, laugh, sigh and cry every single time. It’s a beautiful tale of friendship, love and what it means to do whatever people are meant to do.
Robin Williams is the best and just thinking about this him and what happened makes me feel all kinds of things, I’m just glad this film was made tbh - I think it can help anyone who’s ever felt lost, alone, lacking…

Lookkkkkk I had fun with the all of the arena scenes (ignoring the minor blip of shark CGI reminiscent of Spy Kids 3) and seeing Pedro and Denzel in Rome is a lot of fun but I can’t help but feel like they are mere caricatures and mash ups of characters from the original.
Although Macrinus (Washington) is a fun antagonist with a compelling (albeit stereotypical) backstory and motivations, I feel…
