  Far superior to its predecessor, incredible action and set pieces. Beautiful stunt work and the explosions are just so pretty. Gibson shines again.

  I feel like I could write a novel on the overt homo-eroticism splashed throughout. Leather clad, bejeweled and half naked vs the comparatively clean cut white outfits of our "heroes" seems like a super unsubtle criticism of the queer community (and counter culter as a whole) attacking the "purity" of the general public and had me feel uneasy throughout.

  Super fun film, but goddamn I'm hoping I'm reading to far into that because the implications are... not nice.

  Not sure if my developing media literacy has failed me on this one but... it was a miss? Inconsistent pacing and bizarre dialogue choices. I feel like I'm missing something here but this film is just weird.

  Set pieces and stunt work was phenomenal and a young Mel Gibson certainly isn't something to shake a stick at though
