I Used to Be Funny 2023
Rachel sennott continues to impress me. This story was so relatable and sad, and really truly exceeded my expectations. It did a really excellent job at portraying girlhood between elder gen z/ late millennials and true gen z. The impossibly cool gen z’ers who didn’t have to have the awkward phase, and who you want to protect and carry through what you went through at their age. Would have killed for an older sam in my life at 14.
