  Colin Baker's first season I think is highly underappreciated. Yes there are a few dull serials, however The Two Doctors takes a darker approach and is a pretty good watch. Oh and Patrick Troughton's killing it still.

  I absolutely love the way Ivan places us into each scene, and the time we spend contemplating each characters thoughts and actions.
  Perhaps I'm just a fanboy of slow cinema and black and white photography, seeing the two combined - in the desolate scene of South Australia felt genuinely immersive and grounding.
