THE most honest portrayal of love I’ve ever seen in a film. From an outsiders perspective protagonist Michael leads a wildly successful life. Happily married with family, wealth and ample opportunity to travel. Although, Michael is also a reminder that people are rarely what they seem on the surface. Inside, he is incredibly broken, vulnerable and unable to comprehend or accept the love he receives. This film invites the audience to explore the fact that loneliness has no agenda or type and that you can still be alone in great company. Everything and everyone is temporary. Two things. Firstly Emilia Clarke is fantastic and secondly I’m rlly angry that I don’t have a southern accent. They just seem so fun. Movie highlight very British Emilia Clarke yelling “pay me the rent money BITCH” in the thickest southern accent ever. Fucking delightful.
